The BCFE Chronicle got a mention in today's Irish Independent, 27 April 2012.

No SMEDIA awards for the BCFE Chronicle

Unfortunately the BCFE Chronicle came away empty-handed from the 2012 SMEDIAS, but a great time was had by all.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to the sponsors, judges and oxygen.ie for making it all happen.

The BCFE Chronicle nominated at the 2012 SMEDIA awards

The final nominations for the 12th National Student Media Awards have been announced and the BCFE Chronicle will be contesting two awards.

We've been nominated for the “Small College Publication of the Year” award, and I’m nominated in the “Editor of the Year” category.

The ceremony is taking place tonight, Thursday 26 April 2012, at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin.

The second edition of the BCFE Chronicle is now available at the college, around the local area, and on-line.

Look out for a third and final “Special” edition in mid-April.

The BCFE Chronicle, Issue 2 – to be released tomorrow

The March edition of the BCFE Chronicle will be arriving at the college tomorrow.

BCFE Chronicle second issue release date: 20 March

Apologies for the delay, but the second issue of the BCFE Chronicle is now scheduled for release on 20 March.

The second issue will also be followed by a third “Special Edition” on 17 April, so keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter for details.

BCFE Chronicle launches Thursday, 9 February

The official BCFE Chronicle launch is taking place at 12pm, 9 February in Room 11 of the main BCFE building.

Our special guest will be Sinead Desmond, who is currently TV3’s Ireland AM co-anchor, and who has previously worked for The Sun in both Ireland and the UK as deputy features- and features editor, respectively. 

Sinead has also acted as a contributing writer for various publications, including The Observer, Marie Claire and Vogue.

We have just entered the BCFE Chronicle into the "Small College publication of the Year" category at this year's SMEDIAS awards.
